The recent 16-day 6,200KM 2014 Trans Borneo On-Road Expedition has given an insight of the world’s 3rd largest Island, Borneo for the Sabah adventure of its diversified and unique heritage. The Sabah team comprising of 4 four wheel drives led by sSabah Off-Road adventure Assosiation (SOAA) presdient Hiew Min Kiyun and the Tenom Four Wheel Drive Club (TFWDC) president Victor Lim, as First timer, have this to share their experience and satisfication.
The Trans Borneo, which was revived after lapsed of 27 years by 4×4 legend in Indonesia Harry Sanusi, where this time, 90 percent of our route were in land, Said by Gerald. All of them really experienced and enjoyed the hospitality shown by the various cultural and ethnic populace from Brunei, Sarawak, Kalimantan in Indonesia and of course Sabah and gave them an a insight to get close with nature.

The convoy has sucessfully traversed and circumnavigated the whole Island of Borneo, passing through places where not many people have gone through on road like Balikpapan, Pangkalan Bun, Palangkaraya, Banjamasin, Sangatta, Tanjung Rebeb, Malinau, Simanggaris, Tawau, Lahad Datu, Ranau, Sandakan, Kota Marudu and Kota Kinabalu.
